Overall experience: Sometimes your life changes in a way where ordinary words obtain a new meaning for. For me, that word is "SOMEWHERE" – the name of the catamaran boat which we took on an extraordinary journey together with its owner and captain Roman Fedorovsky, the host of LaRomaYachts (laromayachts.com)

This wasn't just a sharming tropical journey, as is common. We felt as though we traversed a portal into a truly unreal dimension between the sea and the sky, where everything leaves you wonderstruck. Any remaining thoughts of the outside world melted away, and only splendor and the joy of discovery remained, as though everything had been taken care for us.

Everything was nice and safe. No need to worry about sea sickness, as the sea is calm – so much so that a glass of water would stay careless on the table. You always can find safe and reliable anchor points all over. The boat is in a wonderful seaworthy condition and can be maneuvered easily even by the most amateur sailor. Inside interior is very elegant and convenient. Each cabin has its own air conditioner and bathroom. I was surprised to find a full kitchen on-board with an all sorts of kitchen equipment even a mixer and a toaster. Cooking on the go was so much fun and sunset diners on the deck are very remarkable. Besides, the charter company also offers an optional hired cook , if that's what you prefer. Above all the plenty of athmospheric restaurants with gorgeous seafood are waiting for you at every sandy beach , with Caribbean music, of course.

The Catamaran Company BVI (catamarancompany.com) has a good experience in organizing such cruises, prepare the boat in excellent condition and also can provide reliable captains for your convenience. We were especially lucky to travel with the catamaran owner, Roman, who loved to explore the islands on his own and portrays them in the best possible light to his guests. We would have missed so many sights had it not been for him. Roman planned a very balanced itinerary in terms of transit between stopovers and daily sightseeing. He also tries to handpick a crew of his passengers based on common interests to ensure synergy among those on board. Despite the fact that we weren't travelling as part of our own private group, we all were strangers to each other, from the beginning of our voyage we grew very fond of the folks we were travelling with, so this approach was very helpful for us.
